trip to the vet

oliver and simon had their first visit to the vet together yesterday. oliver had eaten a flea, picked up a tapeworm, and then he shared it with simon. we took them to this little animal hospital around the corner from us. it's been there since 1925, which in dallas is old. anyway, the people there were great and the doctor was fantastic. i got an email from them yesterday, they have a pet portal where you can post pictures of your pet and watch videos about animal care and whatnot. you can also set reminders and correspond via email. if only human doctor experiences were this great!

now that the tapeworm is gone, oliver is in good shape. he's slightly overweight though. diet time. simon has a heart murmur and will be going in for xrays the day after christmas. he's not happy about it at all. he's also going to need to have his teeth cleaned. he's technically obese and will be on a special diet. poor guy.
